A Knit A Week

Spring Forward Socks

Pattern: Spring Forward (knitty.com)

Yarn: Mama E's Ceyeber Fiber colorway Grapril

Verdict: Great *free* pattern. Easy to memorize and seems
as if it would lend itself to both variegated or solid yarns.
This yarn is a merino/silk blend, very soft and pretty.
{However, I'm not sure if this company still exists.}
And despite the pictures, it is grape, not blueberry!

How long does it really take you to make a pair of socks? I am STILL drooling over the pair you posted last week. The fact that you can a) even do this in the first place, and b) do it while managing 4 little loves just makes me admire you so so much!!!

Well, socks usually take me about 2 weeks from start to finish for a pair, *if* I get to knit at nap and bedtime. :) Knitting keeps me sane by allowing me put up my feet while not feeling "idle", if that makes any sense. I used to struggle w/allowing myself to rest, but now not so much.:) I feel very humbled by your admiration . . . thank you!!
